I told him we are exclusive. He is an eager new collector. He has a great old Marathon (possibly pre 1950s) and wants to learn more. I sent him the link to the dedicated Marathon thread to study. We just can't figure out where the "button" is to join the Lounge. Very strange.

You probably can’t see it because once you are signed up and logged in that option is not visible for you. Have your friend try this link:

We know you don’t. Your name keeps coming up in our monthly meetings but we don’t know if you’re TFL Society material. Do you even own a purple velour cape and a Guy Fawkes mask?
No on the cape; purple just isn't my color. But between Amazon and eBay I have three different Guy Fawkes masks on my watch lists 'cause I haven't quite decided which would be best and I don't want to embarrass the Society by wearing one of those cheap plastic vaccuformed versions. ;)

I would love some info on my dad's Stetson. How old it is and its' value, please.
I can't find its' logo anywhere.

I suppose it could be from the latter 1960s, but I think @jlee562 was right with a 1970s estimate.

You have a couple things against you for price: it’s from an era when Stetson’s quality was pretty poor, and it’s a small size. If it was 4 or 5 sizes larger it would probably sell for three times as much as it most likely will at a size 7. Maybe stick it on ebay with a starting bid of $100 and see how you do. The vagaries of of eBay mean it could languish for weeks or it could spark a bidding competition and sell fast for above market value. You just never know.
