The hats look very nice. It is difficult to value them without more information though. Like DH said, size matters.
Picture a shortage of fine hats for people who wear size 7 3/8 and above, but a glut of sizes 7 and below. Human head sizes have increased, so more people now wear hats that were a rarity in the past, while less people now wear the sizes that were most common back then.
If you spend a little time looking at vintage hats on eBay, making note of some particular makes or styles, it will not take you long to see the market forces drive the former prices up and latter down. The small sizes can be seen priced at 40% of the same hat in a large size. I'm in the middle, at 7 1/8, but I still turn green with envy sometimes seeing listings at 6 7/8.
