I think the sleeves are perfect. That's a great looking jacket. Congrats.Got this awesome aero deluxe hh jerky today, guys, don't you think the sleeve is too short? View attachment 313623 View attachment 313624
I find the sleeves and the overall look perfect. If you are worried about the sleeve, this can be corrected by putting on a shirt under the jacket and it will visually lengthen the sleeve of the jacket.Got this awesome aero deluxe hh jerky today, guys, don't you think the sleeve is too short? Looks OK to me. The shoulders are quite wide, so the sleeves seem to be adjusted accordingly. If you have storm cuffs , it should be perfect.Got this awesome aero deluxe hh jerky today, guys, don't you think the sleeve is too short? View attachment 313623 View attachment 313624
I have the same problem, and all I found was this:Guys - old moto jacket is missing some 40s/50s brass ring pulls including the chains. Any ideas where I might look for replacements? I won't be replacing the whole zips, hoping to find just some rings and chains. Thanks.
Good find. I've got a 70's Schott 618 coming that has Talon zips, but one of the pulls is broken. This is a good lead, but I need to find silver one.I have the same problem, and all I found was this:

Maybe two layers? Alpaca and something over it so maybe it's not so scratchy and easier to put on/take off
Man, if I ever got me a jacket like this then I'd need a special gusset or swing bi-action around the belly...does anyone have an idea what kind of jacket this could be?
I can easily imagine it as a summer jacket.

For one time use only.
^^
Yeah, looks like 0.6mm lambskin
It's just for the body, and I plan on finding something soft that won't itch. The sleeves will use thinsulate unless I can find a non synthetic alternative that's easy to slip on. That might be a whole issue on it's own.
I'm not sure if anyone knows anything about fabric weight, I was trying to find a good weight for the liner. I know that the classic peacoats and overcoats used some 32oz+ Melton or Kersey wool, while modern ones are usually in the 20oz range. Would a 15-20oz wool be too much? I was looking at some of the Trench coats with removable liners, and most of them look pretty thin.
it is too small across the chest and sleeve, but also too large everywhere else including the neck, it would fit ideally for someone with a huge neck but stick for arms, narrow chested and big mid section I can't imagine human being can achieve this mixed proportion in one bodydoes anyone have an idea what kind of jacket this could be?
