Maybe, but Rockwell seemed to inject a little humor in a lot of his paintings. I think Rockwell's are also a bit more "homey".These very much resemble the Norman Rockwell look.
Michael, this reminded me so much of Bing Crosby in a movie called "Stagecoach" ~1965-1966.I looked , counldn't find the self portrait of Norman Rockwell I was looking for with his old Hat on , but here's a portrait of a Dr (notice the thessascope) ...
The Style of Graves work is really similar .
He needs one of his "Bing" pipes.I thought it looked like him too , but I didn't do any research . No doubt it is .
