That tune Let's Stop the Clock kills me, and not just because Helen's singing it.

Another thing Artie could've taught a class in: clothes. He, along with Duke Ellington and Tommy Dorsey, might have been the best dressed of the big bandleaders. But Shaw was certainly the most drop-dead-handsome.

I just love the sound of his sax section and everything just seemed to gel so well!

Helen Forrest is, and will always be one of my favorite singers of that era... she brings me to tears some times... how I'd loved to have met her... *Sigh*
