Sure looks that way Nik. Not sure I'd have the Blue Smoke if the Dove existed when I placed my order.
I'm REALLY interested in how that Legacy Dove will look & how nice a hand Art can get with it.
He does such a nice job with the ArtLites!

I agree, the ArtLites have already set a very high standard. I'm curious about the Legacy Dove as well, but at the moment I'm not ready for it. If he still has one left by next year I might commission one. For now, I'm in line for the lightweight Century Dove.

Blue Smoke and Dove are very different from each other. It's understandable that you favor the Dove; I think it works extremely well with any nice outfit, whether casual or not.

Hey Rabbit, thank you much for those thread links. I appreciate it. I'm giving some serious consideration to commissioning an Art Lite in Dove pretty soon if available. You've done a great job putting your collection together and it's a great collection. How does the light weight felt compare with the regular weight in the way it takes and holds a crease? I like the idea of a light weight, light color felt for spring and summer, and the Dove seems like the right color for such a hat. Thanks again!

I have 4 ArtLites & they all hold a dry crease just fine.
I have never needed to use steam to crease or set a crease in any of them.

I have a couple Artlites as well and have no problem with them holding a crease and the weight is great for warmer weather.

I have a lot of Artlites & exactly as he states, easy to crease, holds creases very well. as vintage felt does.
Im going to the PO now to pick up Artlite #7 in Dove...(stay tuned for pics)
Though i dont own any dress weights from Art as i also collect vintage fedoras in these Lightweight felts..
I do own 1 of Arts Peluche felts (legacy) which is Lightweight as well...That is a sweet hat...
Well they are all fine & as vintage Quality produced felts

As Rabbit states Dove goes very well with various mixes of color.
Sorta hard to photograph in day light, A excellent felt with the feel of Vintage Luxoury.

Nice Lightweight beaver felt is so comfortable & conforming
though Arts spot on fits are the best, I wear em daily so comfort is priorty !

but ive got my swoop on this playboy as with my original Stetson playboy & its flange was set up to Snap & Swoop.

Rebecca my Model digs it & i recently reattached her Dove so this is cool (dove on dove)
Got a nest of doves 8 ft from my kitchen slider too they return every spring & multipal pairs take turns nesting.

Ok Art a Excellent Job Done Fit & Finish is Outstanding !

Che--Unbelievable lid! I was very close to pulling the trigger on something in dove for my first VS creation, but I went with granite. But when the next one happens for me, dove will be it.

Granite is nice you will like it i have one in Lite as well, Rain Bring it on VS felts can take it,
Beavers play in water all day, but ill wear something else a Brown VS Lite,
