Darn, my semi-caledo dualist
VS-S-C-D-table1.jpg

didn't make the gallery.

Perhaps the Artist doesn't want to do one of these again ...

That would be too bad, as it is a fantastic summer hat.

Thanks!
He did a fantastic job, especially after the stress of waiting almost five months to get the straw body, and yet getting the hat to me in time for a major vacation last June.

That is really a beautiful hat. I'm sure if Art put that model in the pre-made section of his new website it would sell like hotcakes. By the way, does anyone know when that section will appear?

Wow, Thanks for posting Gents. Don, I'm afraid if I put it up I wouldn't be able to get the bodies consistently so I hesitate. Sailor, your boy is growing fast!!! Great picture.
Bob, I've just finished painting the exterior of the shop this weekend in the new color scheme, interior later this month for a photo shoot . There doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day but the additional pages will be up soon. I also need to post a "Services" page as that is what keeps David busy. We made a couple of videos last week that are in editing ( traded a custom hat with a videographer) so they will be going up soon also. whew, this is fun!!!
Where is yours Racer?

Starting not too long after I joined this forum, I've wanted to have Art make me a hat, but I was always afraid to do so, for fear that in my ignorance, I'd end up with a hat I really didn't want. So I waited, and waited, and waited...
And then finally, a month ago, I decided it was time. I felt I knew what I liked and wanted, and was confident enough to take the plunge. So I paid my deposit, got the conformer, and now I'm waiting my turn. In the meantime, I've changed my mind on the felt color, ribbon color, ribbon width, brim width, brim edge more times than I can count. I've went through this thread so many times, looking at pictures, reading comments (not to mention other threads as well), trying to make sure I think of everything. Art has refined the art of torture! Don't know how much longer I can hold out lol . Seriously though, I'm glad it's taking some time, because the overwhelming feeling I had when I first returned the conformer is gone, and I feel confident once again. :cheers1:
