I have a little project going with art about a possible vs100 whippet style hat and I've given him free reign over the whole project which will be spectacular im sure! Im excited I can't wait to see what he comes up with!! Oh yeah I had the idea from brandos excellent vs100 style hat.

I really like this one! Color combo fits perfect!

I agree. This is Lefty's VS Light Sage, by the way.
The charcoal ribbon works very well with the cool light shade of green. It's a very subtle combination and brings out the best in this unusual felt color. I'm sure a lighter gray or silver ribbon would work, too, although it might not be as subtle as the charcaol.

Thanks to everyone who shared their green hats!
From the unpounced samples, the dark moss looks almost brown, but it seems that the finished product is quite nice. I've been looking for a casual, everyday green hat and I think that moss would best suit my complexion. I'm thinking of something akin to what the Jimmy Dormandy character wears on Boardwalk Empire (although I swore I'd never commission a "movie" hat); I think it's awesome
Already planning the next one, and my first one isn't even here yet (...until Friday).

tealseal, the Dark Moss would be a wise choice.
It really doesn't look brownish; in fact, it's a wonderful shade of dark green. Before I decided to go for the Dark Moss, I was asking myself the very same question, fearing ít might be too dull a green. It really isn't too dull.

another ArtLite Granite....

Not as fancy as seabass but same ArtLite Granite body....VS ArtLite Granite Playboy....
I asked Art for a Playboy clone since odds of finding one in my size are so slim, plus he had these featherweight Granite felt bodies.
These things are the closest to vintage that I have found. 5 5/8" Open Crown, 2 5/8" raw brim with 1 row of stitching, Playboy ribbon & bow, snowflake vents...

Che and Dean, congrats on your beautiful new granite VSs. I'm very fond of the vent holes. Che, I also use a removable liner for my vented VS Powderblue. It's a great feature.
