I didn't see a thread for Art Deco clocks. If there is one please merge or delete. Also move if not in the right section.

I went antiquing this weekend and picked this little gem up. A 37/38 "Rose Iris" Telechron clock. For some reason I have thing for Art Deco clocks. So post pics of your clocks!

Neat clock! Yeah, I searched but must not have searched back far enough. So if the mods want to delete to save space go for it.

I got a few old clocks I picked up (cheap) here and there over the years. If I had to choose a favorite it would be this one — a Westclox Spur alarm clock. These things are common as dirt, so they have little monetary value. And that’s fine by me. It’s no surprise the model was a big seller. It was good looking and relatively inexpensive.

It works fine, but the ticking is so LOUD I never use it.

My parents had one of those, glowed like a beacon in the dark !

Although it would be a stretch to say it actually glows in the dark anymore. Whatever true phosphorescence it once had has all but completely faded away. It would be more accurate, I suspect, to attribute the remaining glow mostly to reflection.
