History Preservation Society provided me with Eastman's new Rough Wear 27752. Their customer service was excellent. Sizing was done the trial and error method. On the second shot they nailed it. 46 regular. It arrived in the middle of a heat wave here on the east coast of the US. Fortunetly after a few days the temps dropped to 52 at night so I was able to get some wear time in....for those of you considering, here are real world pictures..

Great looking Rough Wear Mr Fixer, the warhorse hide looks stunning! Would love to see it again when it's really broken in - enjoy and thanks for posting.

Thanks all. No not time worn. I am going to do it the old fashion way : ) The grain is very profound and should get even better I am told. I am taking a trip to Maine next week, so maybe it will get a few nights in up there.

Andrew,

Thank you for all your insight on ELC jackets. Your posts help narrow the field greatly between GW, ELC, and Aero. I was looking at the .50 caliber but decided on the 27752.
Thanks again

You make a very good choice here John. I'm currently breaking in the new ELC Monarch, which is another greatly improved A2 from Devon!

The Monarch is an awesome jacket. ELC seems to be doing a good job staying competitive with GW. IMO their hides are much better than yesteryear.
Enjoy

I too have the new ELC RW 27752, had it for a few months now and can definately vouch that the jacket gets better with wear.

Andrew, Can you take some detail pics along with you wearing it. It would be great to see a full review of the jacket.
