Are more ladies now stepping out of main stream fashions?

I have noticed over the last few weeks that a very small minority of ladies are trying out what I would described as not main stream mass produced fashion say 1 in 500 going are creating their own styles
like a pair of fishnet with a normal skirt in the daytime or shorter shirts than normal for their age, it is hard to describe but just a looks they want to be slightly different from the boring normalfashions. Have you noticed that also? or is it just me seeing the wood in the trees.
I thinking that it might be a sort of half way house for these ladies and some might end up wearing more a vintage style soon.
I think that is great and admirre them for doing this .:eusa_clap :eusa_clap

I don't know how fashion's translating on the streets, but I do see more vintage-inspired clothing in the stores. Let's hope it becomes more than a passing trend. :)

I love to see more vintage been worn but saying that proper or original vintage, i think it has so much to offer ladies . I think there is hope.

Late 40's and 50's 'inspired' looks are HUGE this season. Notice the knee length skirts, swing dresses, and caplets/capes.

Oh PLEASE let this stay. PLEEEEEESE!!!

According to what I've been taught in classes...

I'm sure other fashion majors will also ring in here, but the retro look is always a passing trend that doesn't last more then a season usually, and comes around every 4-6 years.

As to the other's stepping from trends, it's what's hot right now. There is a big emphasis on not looking like everyone else. Both the retro style and the indivudal looks are transitioning styles into the next major shift in general fashion.

At least this is what I was taught in one of my fashion classes.
