That watch is begging for restoration and to be placed back in service.I would if I had one. I like the WWII watches. But I am interested in the watches with the metal over
the crystal. I do have one of those- would have been my grandfather's. He served in WWI. I may have
to get it restored. Didn't know what it was.
I had this one and can't remember what happened to it. I believe it has the same movement as the military ones.ww2 era Hamilton

Normally with my A-2 I wear my TUTIMA Fliegeruhr 1941 (which is a replica of the oiginal WWII watch), sometimes my DORNBLÜTH (which is made in the style of old marine watch-clocks).
