Anyone heard of Gapstar sportswear?

I came across vintage advertising for this company on eBay did a bit of research and found they began in 1953 in LA California 91744. Then I found a ‘B3’ with their label on eBay. Did they make quality stuff? - past tense as I believe they’ve folded. Here’s the ‘B3’ it’s not an accurate replica but looks fairly well made?

I have not heard of that brand but I would agree that the jacket looks to be well made. It also looks like it was cut in a 1980s style meaning the shoulders are overly wide and sag down onto the upper arms. I personally don’t think that is such a big deal when talking about a B-3 since they all look oversized to me.

TBH, I've always been of the opinion that shearlings, especially the RAF Irvin, look best worn just a size large...

Found it - eBay U.K. - sellers second attempt at selling it start price £40. Got to be worth that?
