Anyone ever seen a western-style A-2?

I love jackets with a western-style yoke on the back. It’s strikes me that someone may have manufactured a hybrid/Frankenstein, western-A2. But I know very little about these.

Can anyone point me in that direction?

By the way, on the subject of hybrid A-2’s: does anyone make an A-2 with built-in elbow and shoulder pads for motorcycle riding, or pockets for D30 armor?

Thanks,
Matt

Yes, I've seen styles like this but they are not an A2s. They are one of many hundreds of variations of civilian bomber/flying jackets that were popular in the late 40's and 1950's. Remember the A2 was based on a civilian design, coming out of the 1930's and these civilian styles continued alongside and after the more specialized A2 versions made for the military. Some of these had cargo pockets many had slant pockets.

More of an AN-J-3 spinoff, but your post made me think of this Jelado Japan model. Pretty sexy.
