I have a goatskin "Cooper A-2" that literally looks likes the day I bought it. It's been covered and hanging in the closet and It needs a good home. I don't really know what the going price is on one of these but I have been wanting to get an "Indy" jacket and thought I would see if anybody is interested in this.

Cool. It would really help to sell this if you posted the key measurements. Lying flat on the floor or a table - pit to pit (under armpits across), sleeve length and back length. Label sizes are never consistent and some 44's fit like a 48 or 42.

Hey Seb,

Thank you very much and I appreciate the insight. I will take those measurements and get them posted.

Ok, I hope I did this right, the measurements are:

Pit to pit: 22"
Sleeve: 26" Including the knit cuff.
Back: 27" Including the knit cuff.

On the back, I measured from where the collar sews into the (I guess you would call it the top where the shoulders start), I didn't know if the collar itself should actually be part of the back length or not so I didn't include it.

Hope this helps.

That helps. You measured back length right - start in the middle from the bottom seam of the collar until the end of the knits.

Best you measure jackets lying flat on a table.

Pit to pit seems a bit small for a 44.

Just received the Cooper A2. The jacket was as described, ie, goat, knits, zipper, lining. The jacket was well packaged and shipped promptly.

Thanking JC225 for a smooth transaction.
