Aw, c'mon, that's only a 7 1/4. It can stretch! It's only a size down from my 7 3/8 noggin, and if I'd had the money...This would be a celebratory post.

Please! I've tried everything to squeeze my head down into the cheap sizes. Hot water, machine drying, even tried taking my brain out. All I got was mrrglfmp...

If I only had a smaller head... There have been quite a few decent hats out there on eBay recently, and only me super-size noggin has kept me from bidding.

I'm a 7 3/8 UK - I think that is about a 7 1/2 US. I can just about squeeze a 7 3/8 US on me head.

Alas, 'twould be too small for me, as well. Yet we larger headed wearers of the felt should not feel distanced from our diminutive noggin'd brethren therefor. The inability of any man not to wear such a trophy diminishes me, because I am involved in hat trophy-ing. And therefore send not to know for whom Brad cries. Brad cries for thee.

I'm surprised Jamespowers didn't wind up with this one, knowing his voracious appetite for hats and his hat stretching abilities.

Ah, the vagaries of eBay. I'm just amazed a Stetson Stratoliner can go for well over $200, yet this baby goes for 1/4 of its original selling price!

Hah! You try being 1 to 2 sizes larger and see how you like it.

It's not just that nice vintage hats are never in my size, even new hats that are in my size often don't look right, because they're designed for smaller heads: expand it to a 61-62, and the crown becomes disproportionately large compared to the width of the brim. :cry:
