Something tells me there might be.

I took lessons a couple years ago, and I need to get back into the swing of it with my practice chanter, and eventually I want a nice set of my own pipes, to annoy the hell out of the neighbors with.

I don't know who else here does but I've played since I've been fourteen. At times I've played more actively or less so but have never quit playing. I started out in a pipe band in Detroit though I haven't played in a band in decades. I play the occasional wedding, funeral or party or just for the fun of it at some family or friend gathering. I have a set of 1960s Peter Henderson drones with Wygent drone reeds and play a Kron Medallist chanter. I still use a Canmore GoreTex bag as it's just simple and reliable. This was at my nephew's wedding a couple of years ago.
