After the experieces that I had with my others trasformation I decided to explore working with straw hats. Basically the steps are the same here is the result. ( next time I will try with a better quality panama )

Al's Conversions

All the thrift stores I visit seem to have lots of quality women's hats that have been bought for use in summer or for Melbourne Cup Day (Australia's national horse race). I have often thought of conversions but without a stretcher and with woman's hats being smaller than my melon I have not followed through.
