Ladies and Gents,
These just keep popping up around here! I am happy to be able to offer you for sale yet another very nice 1950s patch pocket sport coat!
This jacket has an extremely nice fabric! It is soft and nubby basketweave that comes off very leisurely. The fabric is a medium/heavy weight and seems durable, which is nice. It has medium size shoulder pads. Made by Bartlett's of Boulder, CO, this jacket has probably resided in the Rocky Mtn state its whole life. Has a 1949 Union tag (red letter, no copyright that I can tell).
This jacket would look great with just about anything. It has a very soft approachable appearance. Again, I wish I could keep all these great finds, but literally every single tan/tweed patch pocket jacket I find is too big for me (I'm a 38R). My closet still has none![Frown :( :(](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
CONDITION: Very clean. I could detect no moth nips, holes, stains, etc on the outside fabric. There is some minor/medium sweat stains in the lining at the armpits. Other than that, it is good-to-go.
In any case, here are the pictures:
