The 613SH looks good on you. That would be my favourite Perfecto in the current lineup.
I also liked the new Shinki on you. I may be biased as I just bought it.

Personally, 613SH is the only Schott that I like. The new shinki fits very similar to the vandals but I have a thing for the D pocket so it's not compelling enough for me.

I too like the pattern of the jacket a lot and it actually fits me perfectly. But ultimately I can't get pass the light weight tumbled pre-broken in leather (the regular vandals). It's too soft and drapey and it doesn't have much structural silhouette that I prefer.

It would have been a fantastic jacket if they made it with horsehide. I understand why they chose this hide because it's a replica of the jacket from the movie and the jacket used in the movie had to be pre-broken in because it was worn by the motorcycle gang member. Frankly the whole movie tribute thing actually turns me off.

There's another way to think about it. These limited editions are clearly tied to the specific hides, so maybe if they do well enough they'll launch a regular stock version of the pattern in the standard horse or steer hides. I agree with you though about not being interested with the current leather; on the flip side it's plenty substantial for someone coming in from the soft mostly lamb or split cow jackets sold in shops.

I agree. The jacket is substantial for someone who's coming from lamb/goat and other lighter caliber pieces.

If they make a regular version with HH with the same pattern, I will undoubtedly buy one.
