Another Buckaroo Hatters!

I placed my order tonight with Major Moore for two hats. The first will be a black hat with a gray pinstripe ribbon, a teardrop crown, and brim bound with black like this one:

The second will be a silverbelly with a diamond crown and a ribbon chosen by Mike.

This has been one crappy day with very bad news arriving early, but there was this very bright spot at the end of it.

Mike says he's gotten some orders from your posts and Rusty's. Maybe we can get him some more. He likes making hats and we all like wearing them.

On thursday evening I will be taken a reworked hat of RBH's to him, and I have about 3 or 5 hats I want him to look at and take a photo of, I told Bob C what I had done and will be doing, they turned out very nice.

Making these hats has sure helped me keep the stress from my real job under control, I am in bliss when I am out in the shop steaming and sanding hats for hours on end.

Ha it already isn't. This is a moorelite. However, it was the first one and he wasn't crazy about it, but I liked it and talked him out of it. It isn't quite as light as the last 2 he made, but it is lighter than regular fur felt for certain. In the pic it is hard to tell the color, but it is natural beaver. It is now my gun club hat. I shoot straighter with it on. That's important in my business.

Mike put a vintage ribbon on this vintage Knox for me. I can't wait to see it now. It's wider and green and gray. I wanted something wider as I have several thin ribbons already. He also stretched it for me as I never could get it to stay.

Moore Hats

I had a treat today.......M .Moore came to the Shop today to discuss
some Leather Hat Bands, He brought with him his TWO NEWEST HATS
a PALE RIDER in black and the other was like one of the Top Hats that
was in the movie "THE ALAMO", that one had a crown a little taller than the pale rider. The color to me looked like it has a faint green cast to it.
