Since Dee is making dinner I am posting her new hat for her. This is a Burgundy custom from majormoore! He will have to give you the specs, but I can tell you it is very soft and light and it's not a lightweight. In the house it's a dark burgundy but it really lights up when you step out in the sun. Actually all the hats in the following pics are by majormoore!;) :D
Also, I brushed it after the pictures:eusa_doh:

Great looking hats IC, every one of them. I really like the color combo on the one you're wearing, Dee's looks great on her as do the Kid's.
That is the hat body that I was going to throw away and majormoore turned it into a nice hat! The ribbon color choice is all him, and the brim is the shortest I own 2 1/8. It has that short brim, taller crown look that I saw in the Rin Tin Tin DVD. Maybe too short for my fat head but I like it and did recieve compliments today as well as a where can I get one.:D

I like a short brim with the straight crown, ala Cagney. It looks very good on you.

If you could have seen the hat body Indycop pulled out of his truck bed while at my shop, you would have thought it was a wash rag he had used to wash the truck and then just threw it in the bed of the truck to dry, at first I did not even think it was a hat body, but when I misted the body and opened it up it was, had no sweatband in it, and the brim had been cut and was uneven on one side.

I steamed the hat and pulled it on the block and the brim was cut down to the largest I could get out of it, it turned out ok, at least it gives him a hat to wear and not worry about getting one of his good hats messed up.

It turned out great Major, as did all of them. It matches Dee's hat perfectly.

Conventional wisdom used to be that big guys should avoid narrow brims. You've shown that ain't necessarily so. It looks just fine on you, IC. It's a real good look. It's always good to have a stylin' lid (or several) you feel no need to baby.

Any idea what it was (brand, style, etc.) before Mike got his hands on it?

Dee, IC and girls, they all look great. Love the crown on the burgandy, Dee. IC, the narrow brim looks fine and the ribbon looks real good on it. I've got to get something going with the Major this week!

Major, I'm working the evening shift today and tomorrow, but Wednesday will be the day. Looking forward to it. You might get to retire from that stressful job you were telling me about sooner than you think. ;)

He has a brownish Stetson of Dee's that he is redoing. The liner was shot and the sweat is all nasty as well as the felt.
