An update from Ivan's second stop......

Just q quick note as I do not have much time. Stopped by the High School where my wife teaches to touch base with you all. It seems as though Ivan wanted to pay us a lingering visit before heading up to Tennessee to pester our friend Michaelson. It arrived here in the foothills of South Carolina late last night. The power went out and I have never heard such a terrible sound as the wind was making. As bad as it was during the night for us, I can't imagine what it was like for those who live where it came ashore. The power is still out for a large portion of the western section of the state but we are glad to see it move on out of here. Our thoughts and prayers go with those down in Alabama and Florida who have caught the brunt of this nasty storm. Will check back in when the power comes on............Regards,Williamson

Wow, I hope the power comes back on soon. We are only beginning to get a little taste of it this afternoon. It seems somebody here is getting hit every other week or so.

TALK IT UP, I LOVE YOUR IDEAS

Good Gosh, no wonder my fingers are tired.

Some of us are in the "chat" sessions, and use MSN Messenger...I really have learned to type fast..and found that to be fun.

But Thanks for the plug. I sometimes look at how many members we have, yet a small minority has built friendships and post regularly.

I am very happy to see the introduction of new names and ideas. SOME other sites (Ya all nkow who I am tkaling aubot) are dull and dead. That WILL NOT HAPPEN HERE!!!!

Just to close out Ivan, fortunately we were just sideswiped by the storm, and though had a lot of wind and rain, NOTHING like what took place just to the east and south of us in Huntsville, Ala. and on toward Williamson. Glad it's pretty much over, though the flood waters are still slow to go down. High regards. Michaelson
