is that wool or fur? I couldn't tell from the pics. do you think it'd take a crease or is it "bowler" stiff?

While I can't guarantee, it sure feels much, much smoother than wool, and definitely has a counterclockwise nap direction. Also the only web research I've found on Flying Cloud Hats makes no mention of wool, so I'm thinking it is a fur felt. It is, however, helmet stiff, and the crown isn't really tall enough to support a crease to begin with. Hope this helps!
