Ambassador Hotel featured on NPR

NPR's "All Things Considered" had a nice story today about the Ambassador Hotel. They talked about its history and possible future. There is an article and photos here, along with the audio feature.

I can understand the Los Angeles School District wanting to provide classroom space, but I sure hope they don't tear it down.

I usually can't stand Diane Keaton and her political views, but in this instance I can agree with her, as she's supporting the historic preservation of the hotel.

Naturally, everything happens when I go out of town. Thanks for the link, though. Some great photos of the Ambassador which I hadn't seen before (some of them are new).

They are really starting to keep the grounds nice over there. It didn't look that way six or seven months ago, I can tell you.
