I didn't go down a size on my Bootlegger, and it fits great. Just who recommends doing this?

I believe aero and Thurston. I have been talking to Carrie about the Teamster and that's another one. I'm a 42 in everything, but she recommended that I get a 40 for my 5'10" 180 lb frame.

She said same for a couple other of the Aero jackets.

STF- Super Tight Fit. I believe this is for the Aero stockist in Japan. Since they're generally a smaller body overall compared to us fattys in USA! ha. FYI - at 180lbs I would not suggest a 40. I'm only 160lb and take a 42.

I'm 5'11" and my weight fluctuates between 165 and 180 depending on my gym routine at the time and I've got a Size 38 STF bootlegger that fits great.....guess it depends where you hold your weight.

From what I understand the STF only affects the waist measurement, not the chest or shoulders.

My Bootlegger is a size 40" and my suit size is a solid 44". Totally depends on the fit you want. I'm 5'10 210lbs and the jacket is slim but does allow for layering. I also have the half belt pulled all the way in. Allows for room when the IPA's catch up.
