I finally got thru this morning to Alpha -- and I'm afraid the news isn't very good! They do sell direct to walk-in customers, the lady who answered told me, but she seemed more interested in directing me to their website www.alphaindustries.com to purchase. (I tried that after we finished, but was only re-directed to other on-line sellers.) She did confirm that they offer a Tall size, but no Short. When I asked about price for a walk-in customer, she said "about $60 - 65" USD. Holy cow! She finished by saying, and I now agree, that you'd probably do better buying somewhere else on line. Weird.

I don't find tall size, just normal, will go as this and will see....

Go for the CWU-45 for your weather conditions.

I wore one for three military deployments to Antarctica. Still have it......

Just my two-cents' worth- but I'd order one size larger than you think you need. Those jackets are still a "Military " cut and seem to run a tad small.
Great jacket, though.
