Hello everyone. Its a beautiful day out there and that has me motimotivate. I am in week 6 of shoulder rotator surgery recovery. I have a limited range of motion but it is all good. Waist level and not having to reach much is key. Pain is very little but as therapy starts this week learning how to use the arm again.....that might make for some discomfort at times.

Bob I am working on your hat. I appreciate your patience.

I just want to thank people. Anyone and everyone that reaches out to me, concerned for me. It really means a lot. Thanks!!
A gentleman helped me out buying a old stratoliner. I had forgot I placed a order for Long Oval bandblocks. So in one hand and out the other to the penny. This way I have consistent Long Ovals and done need to mess around with building up band blocks.

Bob.....you are up current.
I am once again in position to discuss orders and take deposits.
Thank you all very much.
Tim
Good to hear.

Tim, happy to hear you're getting back in the swing of things. A purpose is the best medicine.

Great to hear you're back in action, just don't overdo it at this point.

Tim. Thanks for all the info today. I learned a lot.
My pleasure. Always willing to help someone learn. It isn't easy stumbling through with that project. You follow those few suggestions and get the band block from Mark H. Give me a shout when ready to tackle the job. Also just a note. I made a friend through a business deal. He turned out to be a tremendous help to me. I didn't learn brim binding by accident. I had some very good instruction. His name is Scott. aka BOND here on FL. When you need to buy a sweatband he has a nice ones. Back bows....etc. Look him up , tell him I sent you.

Tim this is really good news, but as some have said, don't over do it! We want you to get well completely without any setbacks! Take you time through your therapy, but working some on hats will help you more than anything. SLOOOOOOOWWWWWWLLLLLYYYYY!

Johnny. As always it is good to hear from you. This is a man , so you folks know; he who heard my voice one day, and thought to himself, I need to follow this guy in life and check in. He knew. Been there for me since. Not meaning here on FL, but in real life. He texts me and tries his best to help me along keeping me solid in heart and mind. You are a terrific man Johnny. Thanks brother for everything.

Glad to hear you're on the mend, Tim. I know all too well about pain and oxy, etc. I'm off even the Aleve and Advil now (I end up in the ER with excruciatingly painful gastritis/peptic ulcer) and although the pain I have is sharper I feel better overall.

Thanks very much for the good words. All really fantastic folks here on the lounge. I appreciate you and everyone who cares. Have a great day.

I second Scooterz. You've been a great help to me in this newfound avocation of mine. Between you and Scott, I've learned things that bring me joy and satisfaction.

As you know, I have some affairs to attend to. When I get things situated, you and me will talk turkey (or more likely, beaver).

']From the "Better late than never" file... LOOK at you two!! Impossible to tell which of you is more fortunate to have the other!
']']@Cane Rod Maker, the MAN! Hang loose, Timster... It may happen slowly, but it happens. You'll be doing backflips and all that soon. I just came back from PT, where she told me I'm doing "very well for a man of your age." Is that good? HMMMmmm... partially.

And @Hurricane Jack... Has your PT told you that? She may be totally right, but isn't there a better point of reference?! Like, "doing almost as well as a 25 year old."
