I keep coming back to admire that hat. It would look great with just about anything, but with a brown leather jacket? Killer.

Harv.....he just finished mine. Photos to come next week sometime. I think he's almost finished with another as well......there will be photos of both. Actually, there will be photos of them all from here on out.

I'm also going to start another thread for all of the hats Tim has made to date, including all of the Canes Creations as well. It will be called, "The Brotherhood of Alley Kats". This way everyone who owns any, will hopefully post them there to be seen. That's my intention.

Tim,
Any more project progress shots?
Inquiring minds.......

I am working on a beautiful pecan staple rabbit for a local restaurant proprietor.

Let me take a few photos over the weekend and send them to Kurt. Both he and I are busy this weekend, but maybe I can have some work in progress shots this week.

It's a beauty. I used #59 block which has some taper, flanged on a #17 flange, 2-3/4 brim, minimum curl. It looks really special. And so vintage appropriate.

It's pecan....staple rabbit. I've got to say, I really love what can be accomplished using Winchester Staple Rabbit. A good hand and a nicely lured felt.....I'm looking at my bow from a 48 Era Imperial Stetson, a thinner ribbon, with a gentleman's bow.

I have to ask, during the upcoming fall and winter, perhaps you may entertain making some business moves into making some straw hats for this next years hot weather????

I would love to try one. I saw some really nice product on Instagram and had some initial talk with a gentleman. I'm sure as I get moving along here, something like that could happen. I just picked up a gift. A open arm singer, it will do the job on binding but I have to mess with it over the next few months and learn it. I may have to have a modification done, and a guide fabricated. But I'm thinking like that Cindy.
