We were going to hit the Casino all dressed up so I could show off my hat from Esther and Daniel would have worn his Midnight Rider from Tim...but our car is on the fritz! Needs some suspension work badly, tie rod ends, maybe even control arms...so we are stuck at home until we have it fixed this upcoming Tuesday. Thank god for credit cards! Hahaha!

Yep..Tim sent me a text...this is on it's way....some good news for a change. Our car cost me $877.99 for the repair bill....total bummer.

Well...I am hopeful this will arrive today! Tim is healing up after having his shoulder surgery...he was in some great pain the last text message he sent as he left out a few numbers of the tracking info...but said the hat is due to be delivered Friday...(which is today)!

The rotator cuff pain is severe. Daniel had that a while back in both shoulders. He opted for just PT to deal with it instead of surgery. Took about an entire year to be rid of the problem. We sure send our best wishes and a lot of love to Tim, and will hope his pain will quickly go away.

Well now...I have to get new tires! The front suspension issues ruined the tires, they are all worn out, and only have been on our car for 5 months....here is another $580.00 to fork out! Anyone seen my money tree????? NO?? Well, me either! Hahaha!

Well it arrived! I already had a tie I purchased for Daniel (you can see on one of these pictures) that match the ribbon and bow work colors right on the money! And this hat is perfection again from Tim. You can tell when you handle the hat it is a Western Hat Felt body....BUT it is like cream....smooth....Tim did a lot of work on this hat to prep it for the "finishing touches".... Notice the super nice lighter colored leather sweatband? NICE or what! The hat is just perfect. Fit is good, looks good on Daniel, and everything else is exactly what was wanted, and then some! More pictures soon....promise!

Oh I should have made mention...Tim did this hat all when he was having to deal with some rather serious pain. Think of that...how much more love could he put into his work and to meet his obligations to those of us that would hire him to make a custom hat for us? Geez, I have lost hats and money to some that decided to just do NOTHING rather then to do the job and they had no "painful" excuses....yet here Tim just held up his part to finish this hat...and...I think to keep working on some one else's hat as well! Courage and honor....a Master at his craft....thank you Tim!
