I just purchased the 9 DVD set of Alfred Hitchcocks films.

Wonderful, and they are in sharp, clear format.

The films include:

Mr. & Mrs. Smith
I Confess
Suspicion
Stage Fright
Strangers on a Train
Foreign Correspondent
Dian "M" For Murder
North by Northwest
The Wrong Man

I have seen all but two of these films. Wonderful, supurb. Great Noir, dress, cars, suspense, actors.

I shall post reviews of these films this week and next as I watch them and invite comments of the material.

I spent $84.99 for nine DVD's ..and they are all classics...so the price per was a bargain.

Highly recommend it!

Something else to add to my growing DVD list. Hitchcock was a master. Thanks for the heads up. I'm waiting for the reviews. :)

Hitch in in them all

Yes. In Strangers on a Train, he is the big guy getting on the train with a BASS FIDDLE!

He has been seen playing cards (Shadow of a Doubt), walking a dog , coming out oa church, sometimes it's just the back of his profile.

In 'Rope,' which takes place entirely in one apartment, they made his famous profile out of neon and made it part of the city's backdrop seen through the rear window of the apartment.

Does anyone here recall what his cameo was in 'The Trouble With Harry'?

Lana - who's the gal in the picture you use as your avator?

That is actually Rita Hayworth. I love this pic because there are few photos of her as a blonde.

Getting to the other question, I don't know exactly how to style the hair like that but you could check out http://www.nocturne.com/swing/hair/hair.html. That site has step by step on how to give hair a vintage look. I hope that's what you're looking for.
