I already have a Brown Aero Cafe Racer in FQHH (Which I love) so was thinking of getting a medium weight HH Black Highwayman. Am I right in thinking that the Aero medium weight HH and the AL Jerky HH are the same? So an AL Roadster in Black Jerky would be pretty much the same as a Aero Highwayman in the mid weight HH?

If they are, the shorter wait at AL and Aeros reluctance to customise now is pushing me towards AL.

All things being equal I would be happier going back to Aero but they cant even seem to return emails particularly quickly atm...guess they are just too busy, makes me more than a little nervous as to how many months you would currently have to wait for a jacket to be made.

Around four to six months was what Holly at Aero said a month ago. According to her mother they are having a struggle dealing with issues that the previous management neglected. As well as having to remake jackets which were sold as FQHH when they weren't.

For what it's worth there is no doubt that happened under the old management, for whatever reason.

You know I did think about posting a picture however after seeing some of the comments that plumb line copped after posting his pictures I thought what is the point. I am sensitive about my weight at the best of times.

So having a lot of people telling me they think I should or should have bought does not thrill me. I thought as long as I am happy about what I have is all that matters. But thanks for the request.
Feel free to post whatever pictures you want. There will be no criticizing of weight or purchase choices.

Great jacket... cute kid. Only suggestion I'd make is smile a bit! As for fighting the good fight on weight. You're not alone. Butte, I and other's fight it, have fought it and will always fight it. Enjoy your life, your leather and time.

I don't recall anyone on the forum criticizing anyone's weight. Jacket fit..sure. Weight..not that I remember. A few 'bigger guys' have joked around about their size and more difficult quest for the larger sizes, tho. There are members here in all shapes and sizes looking for the best complementary fit and often appreciate differing opinions that may hold some merit for them after they consider all other ideas.
Then some have it all figured out and just don't want to hear it. It's not mandatory that anyone must change anything.

I see Will's decided to repeat the sins of Aero's old Irvin design: tubular arms and teddy bear shearling. [huh]

The little girl in the picture is my 5 year old daughter who started school in February of this year.
She came home the other day and ask me "Papa why are you fatter and older than the other dads from the school?"
She said it in all innocence. Out of the mouth of babes. By the way I am the oldest dad by far.

No it is a chopped shovel head 96 cube barebones. It originally had a suicide shift which I have changed to a mousetrap and still has an open belt. One full on machine.

To the non-rider, that has to be the single most incomprehensible post ever on these boards. I know it's in English, but the rest is a total mystery...:first:
