Hello all, I'm selling my almost brand new Akubra Slouch hat. I've only owned it for a few months, and only worn it for about 4 days, on a cruise. It is still in like new condition, except for some slight soiling on the Akubra label inside the crown, which is also peeling off a little.
The reason for the sale is that I've decided that I'm actually a size 60 head, not a 59. This hat came with a military bash from David Morgan, which I didn't care for in person, so I re-bashed it as a pinched telescope. And I have to admit, I'm incredibly impressed with how the bash turned out. It looks like it came bashed from the factory, if I do say so myself.
I'm including the original puggaree, but also, as shown in the photos, it's wearing a much higher quality pug from Lawrance Ordnance. The pug was $20, and I paid $20 shipping for it, and unlike the stock one, it is the true 7-fold style, with the characteristic dips in the front and back center. WAY better looking, in my opinion.
I'm asking for $100, shipped to CONUS. I'd prefer Paypal for payment, but am open to other suggestions. Please feel free to reply here, or email me at:
