@CRH I'm curious about that liner! Is it something you ordered from Akubra w/ the hat or did you source it separately? I'd love to know where to buy one myself and have been looking for something similar for much of this winter. Can you point me in the right direction please?

I ordered a few from Hatsupply . Shipping is kinda pricy but price and quality is good.

I'm guessing that's not an insulated liner and the hat came w/out any liner as new. I think I misunderstood... but that's not actually insulated, right? I may be looking for a product that's available in heaven but not here yet.

Yes, not insulated and the hat comes unlined. The liner makes a considerable difference in warmth.

I can certainly feel the difference in warmth between my unlined Traveller and my lined Akubras. Do you plan on removing the liner in warmer weather??

The crease in mine has been evolving a bit, I lowered the Gus crown a tad and gave the brim sides a bit more curl. There's a lot of real estate to work with on the Sombrero!

It kept me dryand warm today on a long dog walk through a snowstorm. with a Schaefer Outfitter wax jacket and Beringia wool shirt, Icebreaker Merino first layer, and Carhartt Upland trousers, great easy wearing pants in the rain and snow.
