My wife has the exact same hat, bought new in Australia in about 2001 and it has the same label in it.

Snowy River

This fairly early Snowy River arrived today. The original owner claims to have worn it once (I see no signs of wear). Fits me perfectly. Will take some headshots this weekend.

I like black hats.

I'm sure this has already been asked, but I've ran searches in vain. Does anyone have comparison photos of Moonstone in Imperial & Heritage felt? Thanks.

Hello,

I am thinking about buying an Akubra Campdraft. I was wondering if anyone knows where to get the smaller brim hat. I have seen several photos here and elsewhere online of Campdrafts with a smaller brim, probably 2 1/2. Is that something they no longer do or is a special order? Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks

I recently received an old Akubra Drover.
Interesting lid, it's been shaped differently than I've seen here...

Does anyone else have a Drover? Can I see what you've done with yours?
Thanks!

This Snowy River was imported by the Outback Trading Company, PA. I got it unworn from the original owner. Not sure of the date of manufacture. It came with a white liner (but no chin strap hooks) and a black ribbon. Swapped out the ribbon for one of David Morgan's plaited leather bands.

You have a classic Aussie look! Actually you look a little like Daniel Craig in Cowboys and Aliens? If you could slip on a dinner suit you could be a Bond hybrid.. Good work!

I just got this one, marked Eddie Bauer Digger. It's perfect for the North Carolina bush and for my nightly forays into the chicken coops. As you can see, it also does a great job of shielding my pale skin from the sun.

I see that some photos of the Akubra Kiandra have a hole on the left side. The one that I recieved and other pictures show that there is no hole. Any idea as to why this is?
