I am a 61 melon head, the hat is a 58. After years of trying to get used to it, if a hat does not fit, it doesn't work, so it need a better melon.
It was always kept in its orig box, with mothball. I sent it to Madhatter in St. Louis to have brim edge removed and narrowed, and a silk band added.
The hook etc are gone, but I think the strap is still in box...all this posting is PIA. I will send insured USPS CONUS...included...$250. Any questions or suggestion, feel free. If I can post pics I will, otherwise, email me. Basically, hat is new...
