Nah..... Whats this "pull off"? Sounds suspect....

The secret is not to care what others think. Just wear em if you love em man.

I like the Bogart but it's not imported to the US and when I checked it's specs, it's basicaly the SAME as a Stylemaster just an open crown, and an 8mm wider band. Both are the same crown wise, brim size and binding :) I tweaked my Stylemaster to almost be identical to your BTW :)

Oh, and regarding hats. The stylemaster has the same dimensions as the bogart but a very different bash. I was wearing a stylemaster yesterday, coincidentally. It has a long teardrop that is lower at the back. The bogart has a center dent and a pinch. I've tightened the pinch on mine a fair bit.

Oh, and why was I in the hattery trying on hats yesterday? My birthday is next month. Hoping for a moonstone stylemaster.

Must be nice to just "zip" over to a store full of Akubra's :) I have to catch a plane and fly 2300 miles NW to get to one :) I'm liking my Dark Chocolate Brown ( Mid-Brown officially) Stylemaster. I steamed the pre-crease out of mine and put it the way I like mine a sort of widen'd at the rear center dent with close pinched front. It's the softest Imperial felt Akubra I own.

I have a moonstyle Stonemaster and I think highly of it. ;)

What tuning are you using there ?

As I understand it, the Campdraft used to be available in Tawny Fawn, Silverbelly, Bluegrass Green, and Black. Bluegrass Green and Black were discontinued, and at some point Glen Grey was added to the list of available colors.

Apparently, enough people petitioned to EA that Sam was able to get a limited run of CDs in Bluegrass Green, a total of 50 or so. I'm guessing Akubra didn't just dump the dye somewhere, so limited runs can probably still be made as long as enough people are committed to buying them.

So yes, it seems it's truly a limited run.

Thanks for the info. Now I'm really excited about grabbing a bluegrass while I can. I never had a desire for a green hat, but this color is so interesting I couldn't resist.

Make no mistake, I'm sold on the CD. It's just that, on basis of color, I've no desire for another CD at this time, unless of course they re-introduce Black and add Moonstone to the available colors [huh].

So in remission, I guess...

Oh yeah. I'm not one to think you need several of the same model hat in the same color. To me it's redundant unless you've got one that you wear out getting dirty and another for "going to town".

I kinda feel bad for my Tawny CD. The Bluegrass Green gets exponentially more wear, and when I'm not wearing the CD it's the LR...the tawny color just can't hold a candle to Sand or B-Green...[huh]. That is solely my opinion, as green is my favorite color and that CD seems to go with just about everything I wear :).

It's a shame, but I can imagine that Sand and Bluegrass Green are cooler [as in neat, not temperature] colors than fawn. Though, I must say that I really like my Fawn Federation and it goes well with certain shirts EXTREMELY well.

Well, the Fawn of the Fed is slightly different in shade, and has the amazing contrasting, wide ribbon. The Campdraft does not, and unfortunately for the Tawny CD, is better off without them [huh].
