There was something not quite right to me with the look of crease on this hat, after seeing some Stratoliners in person recently I realised all I had to do was pull the top of the pinch down a bit, it completely changed the overall look of the bash, making the crown a bit more curvy overall, making it seem less blocky from the front, and accentuating the dome on the top of the crown a bit more. I think it's much nicer now, and suits my face a bit better, and since I'm a short-arse it looks a bit more like I'm wearing the hat rather than the hat wearing me.

I couldn’t resist picking up this Bushman even though it’s not my size. It was shipped to me flattened and very dirty but cleaned up nicely. It is the first Bushman I’ve seen with no grommets. The first photo is from the seller.

Right, grommets seem to generate discussion now and then so I thought I’d point that out.

I like seeing the various shapes you and others have come up with for the Bushman. I’ll be on the lookout for one in my size as it seems it would make a great fishing hat.

Here is a Bushman with no grommets and a nice brown/green color. Seller claimed it was “owned by his neighbor’s Dad and is old.” Not really sure about the vintage but felt seems higher quality than my other imperial felt Akubras.
