I was searching Aero's e-Bay auctions (AeroUSA) last night and noticed they dropped the price on a lot of their jackets. I was wondering if anyone knew if the items on ebay are for sale as listed or can they be customized. I know you provide your sizing upon auctions end, but what about, say, added sleeve buckles and perhaps a D-Pocket??

Probably the drop in the British pound.

It has to be the drop in the British pound and not a "sale." A few months ago the pound was almost at $2 now its at about $1.50. That's a 25% drop, about the same as the drop in the jackets. We've seen a similar drop in the Australian dollar so Akubras now look cheap. British hats and jackets should as well. I'm thinking of a Christies traveler hat which a few months ago was $100 but is now more like $75.

The good news is that this is not temporary, though the dollar could always drop again.
