I take a JL over an aero any time of the week. In a personal level, I did know Mr. Tam. He was a great man that I respect very much. He was a great leader and honorable man who was a role model of a person who had business integrity to respond for their products. In terms of jacket crafting, JL can make a killer jacket for their regular production and can work with customers to produce a new design. You can view their Peters as a sample, as can be done for about the same price as a top of the line aero. Furthermore, JL top of the line production intended for the Japanese market is excellent, far superior to aero as well. In my view, it is constructed better with quality hardware at a reasonable price. I love supporting my local economy in California, and purchasing from them helps my state. I rather spend my hard-earned dollars in the US or Mexico-Canada. Lastly, I boycotted the UK due to the way I was treaded by their law enforcement reps. Why spend any money for countries that do not value your tourist industry.
