I've never seen one in the wild, I'm afraid. Be interesting to see if there is a forumite out there with one. I have seen a fair few other Aero shearlings, though, which were all lovely.

There is one with a full suit, pants were vintage and you guys did the top coat. Let me see if I have it in my files.

What is the process used to "grey" it up? Just rub with some cement dust and brush off? The grey'ed hide looks good.

I read on VLJ that that B-3 jacket(s) ^ is from Aero.. apparently they made 10 of them for the lead character and the wardrobe department aged them each a bit differenty to match the action and show the passage of time.

I am waiting a bit to see if there are any Master of Air spec jackets showing up on their stock page, if not I'd have to go custom. Very cool stuff. I've also been lurking about these jackets for a while, the ones for the show.

Update time.

Had settled on the Arctic Parka however, the more I looked at the photos I saw more small details that'd bug me in the longer term so..

..then moved onto the possibility of a B3. and had a sample of the white sheepskin sent, whilst very nice indeed it's definitely not me. With being Mr Picky (very) the patch pocket I knew would bug me in the end along with the wooly waistband so...

...next stop was the AN-J-4 which I think is perfect for my taste. Samples arrived today of the 22mm seal sheepskin and the dark seal vicenza for the trim (many thanks to the Aero team) and at last, choice is sorted.

Usually get there in the end :)

Just for your reference, I have the ANJ-4 from Aero in the Seal sheepskin with the Dark Seal Vicenza trim. This jacket is substantial and very comfortable. I have used it almost everyday in the winter, basically because it is sooooo comfy!!! The front pockets are a godsend, I can carry my phone and gloves with me.
