Aero Speedy Dustbowl sz. 40” BLK/BRN vic $500 +ship or trade?

I’m really bummed about this one. It’s a beautiful jacket but just entirely too small. Really it’s just the shoulders. I’m finally getting back to my pre-pandemic self and this one I just can’t wear. It’s a bummer. This is the nicest vic I’ve handled. Has actual body to it and it’s even a bit stiff. I don’t really like vic but if I knew I could get this hide, I’d order it direct in an instant. It’s the black to brown Vicenza with contrast OD stitching. Silver nickel hardware and tartan lining. I never have spec’d a tartan so I have no clue what kind it is. It’s not scratchy at all. Appears to have been worn very little, if at all.
Please see the photos for measurements and details. The jacket has one vertical interior pocket.
I’d entertain trade possibilities from members I know or have exchanged/dealt with in the past. Another Halfbelt (of course). Otherwise it’s $500 plus shipping to your door via the carrier of your choice.

Huh! Blackened brown Vicenza really looks much nicer than the regular stuff I see in TB thread. Lovely jacket. Shoulders don't seem to take anything away from the sleeve length, too. Interesting.

Yeah I agree! I noticed the same on the sleeve length too! My 50’s HB is 20” shoulder, 26” sleeve and they hit almost the exact same spot. These sleeves “should” be too short but somehow they aren’t. If the shoulders were 19-19.5” I’d be golden and likely done (for a week or so).

Wow, Tony that jacket seems to have an "upside-down" taper - the shouders only about 18" while the Pit to Pit is around 23.5" Suprised you could even get it on. Nice jacket at a great price! - GLWS!

Shame about the 18" shoulders doesn't make sense with a 23.5 chest but then a 23.5 chest doesn't make sense on a size 40 jacket. my Aero Sunburst similar style was size 42 had 22.5 chests fit well around except the sleeve length being an inch short for my liking. I know this is not outerwear but some Aero fans may appreciate this input.

Catch and release. Back for sale. Solid 18.5” shoulders, I’m usually a 19” shoulder guy and it’s perfect. But too long in the front for my short torso/long limb body.

a miracle jacket- at just 25, the sleeves look pretty long (too long?) on both Tony and jpk, despite the shoulder being narrower than usual, on both!
Also, this is a DB with the diagonal back seams sewn closed (no gussets), which in the end may be the better choice (I observed something about stretch lines from the gusset ends to mid shoulder line on the gusset version DB - so far only a working hypothesis).I will now hurry to measure front lengths on my other jackets... pm incoming!
