I un-antiqued my antique brass buttons to show a bit more brass. It can be done FYI, but I do warn you that one of them, the coin pocket, was actually copper underneath. A neat quirk though.

Thanks for the tip.
For me it fits very well in blackened. I ordered it that way because it's a little more subtle. But who knows if I don't want to shine in the future LOL

Perfect in every way! Doesn´t look too roomy at all.

I´ve said it before: I do prefer CXL FQHH over Vicenza for the "butch" look and the unique aging (c.f. your incredible Kaff Racer to see what I am talking about). Yet, Vicenza is so much more easy wearing, and the more leather I handle the more it irks me that heavy CXL is so much of a fight all the time!
I am Looking forward to seeing you break in this jacket. I havn´t seen many hard-worn Vicenza jackets yet, and this one has so much potential in it.

If you do, here’s how it can look.

Thank you
yes I know what you mean about cxl and I also agree. It's a dream, but impractical. e.g. if I'm out and have to stow the CXL then it needs its own seat ;)

The Crosszip is my first Vicenza and I have to say it wears fantastic. I wore it all day yesterday and my neck is still alive :D
The first brown spots come through.

If you do, here’s how it can look.

Wow. That is fast wearing. I have a PHWM in blackened brown and after a winter of wear it only has the tiniest spots of brown on the cuff edges and some high seams. Nothing like yours. I guess some hides wear faster? Or Aero changed the top coat to wear faster?

Be careful carrying things like that.
One day i ordered something from a website called CoolBlue, the cardboard box it arrived in was bright blue.
I carried it 50 meters against my chest whilst wearing a LW leather jacket.
When i put the box down my jacket was covered in bright blue stains, thankfully the top coat of LW leather is tough enough that i could delicately scrape the blue off without leaving any marks, but i am pretty sure that if i had been wearing CXL or vicenza that day my jacket would still be covered in blue stains, or i would have rubbed the top coat off trying to remove the blue stains.
Now i am really careful with printed packaging when wearing leather...

Many thanks.
Unfortunately, I don't know whether Aero has changed anything. But maybe it's just me. I don't particularly take care of my jackets. A jacket has to survive everyday life, otherwise it shouldn't have become a jacket. LOL
My CXL looked like this on the sleeves, too, really quickly.

Thanks for the hint. good to know. Fortunately, my box was without paint. Lucky :)
