This was the one I had made a few years ago copied from a 1930's German M/C jacket. It's made from FQHH and has an Alpaca lining with satin lined arms.
I am having a clear out of jackets I don't wear and sadly this is one of them, there is nothing wrong with it in fact it is superb, it just deserves to be worn more often. There is some slight wear around the button holes but other than that it is mint and has only been worn a few times.
Labelled a 44 the fit is probably closer to a 42. I am 5 10 and weigh 170 pounds, it's a comfortable fit.

John,
All the measurements sound perfect for me - EXCEPT the back length. It sounds very short compared to everything else I have. Do you have any photos of you wearing it from the back view?

This shows how the jacket just sits on the waistband of my jeans. As I said earlier, this is a design based on a jacket from the 1930's. They were short M/C jackets designed to be worn with leather trousers.

The prototype that was made was about 2 inches longer. It was rejected as it just looked odd, wrong somehow.

Sorry to hear that, but thanks for letting me know.

I read that you were involved in the design/making of this model.

Congratulations -I think this is a real gain to the world of leather jackets!

Do you happen to know whether AERO is still offering this model?

I haven´t found it on their website recently.

best regards

Hal
