Both of them look like a great fit Tony! Do you have pictures with the jackets closed? Would be interesting to see by how much you can pull the jacket off at the waist.

I was not aware that Aero offers to size down between chest and waist. I thought you always have to stay with a base size and altering is only possible in terms of body and arm length.

PS: It seems that there are actually variations between sizes even across same jacket types. For example Carrie said the Ridley would be tighter in the waist compared to the BR if both jackets are 46. I would say this is not the case...The Ridley has only more room in the chest.

For example the jacket in this picture (I don’t know who it is) looks great even if not super trim!

Me too! My 3.0 is styled much like this one but the length is a bit longer and a few tweaks. This BL feels more aviator than biker to me. That’s what I was after.

Exactly that’s what I meant with sometimes a not super trim fit could look way cooler than a perfectly V-shaped jacket. Of course for biking you want the jacket to be snug for safety and aerodynamic reasons, but when wearing a jacket as a daily jacket I think a little room to allow for creases looks just awesome!

Ton, I understand you well. I suppose it's hardly possible to anybody remaining the same after seeing such cordo beauty. Btw, I bought my Bootlegger after seeing yours on those your fabulous photos (but mine is in its shorter version and a size smaller). Those photos were really motivating.
Actually, almost every photo of any Bootlegger posted anywhere usually looks impressive. Such cool pattern!

LOL me three!

That was THE picture that made me order my Tumbled Cordovan bootlegger!
Oh yeah, I remember those your fit pics of your Vintage Tumbled Cordovan CXL HH Bootlegger Premier - when I saw them first I just started dreaming of any Aero Leather jacket. Still like it very much. It'd be nice to see from you how it looks today after years of wearing. I'm almost sure it now looks even more gorgeous than when it was new!

Its still too warm here to get pics sorry and its still packed away for the summer but I'll definitely post in the WJAYWT thread when it gets cooler. Unfortunately it doesn't get as much wear time as it deserves, I've just got too many damn jackets lol
