Straight out of the box I can say that the fit and feel is perfect. I usually wear 38 with Aeros but because of the slimmer fit I went for 40, with added width to the shoulders, 1" off from the hem of the jacket and 1" off lenght wise. Just to make it a bit more V shaped than normal PHWM.
I chose Cxl Steer because of the heft and IMO better look when it ages compared to the horse.
It weights around 2,8kg.
With the details I went for the Harris tweed lining with cotton drill sleeves. Brown corozo buttons and brown contrast stiching. And lastly double-D buckels on the sides. Which I think look better and work better than the usual. The Hookless zip was changed to Talon for the reasons that many of us know too well.
All and all everything seems to be perfect, thanks to Julie Leitch.
