Aero Oil Pull Leather - please show pics!

Capes are we definitely talking about the same jacket? His pic doesn't show properly on my screen but I assume he's talking about the hide used on this one http://www.aeroleatherclothing.com/product-detail.php?id=103
and that he was expecting the same kind of uniform finish.

Also, I'm not fully understanding the unpleasantness of the hide you had, as 'matte' and then 'oily' also, seems like a bit of a contradiction in my mind. Can you add to the description?

Where it shows the oil pull. That is the jacket I bought, but in reality it was more matte and oily. Just like very over oiled old leather or oiled suede. No shine on it at all. No oxymoron there BTW.

I agree that the oil pull A2 on the page looks okay in the pic. Very like the swatch I got about six months ago in fact. But Davs A2 is the same leather as the one I received and that seems to be the oil pull now.

He likes it BTW and that's good. I didn't though.

I get ya. There was no shine and it looked a bit bland, while to the touch it felt greasy. FTR I wasn't accusing you of an oxymoron Capes, and I do know what matte means. It's just that in my brain matte leather isn't greasy, rather I picture it as bone dry.

On this topic I had an oil pull A2 once and it looked like the one in the link i posted. That must have been the older oil pull. It wasn't matte or greasy and I liked it

Waiting time was a couple of months, don't know exactly but order was placed in summer last year or so ...
