Curious to know if anyone has experience with Aero Mouton and how color stable the fur is. Specifically in harsh sun / UV. Thinking about attempting a sun tan/vintage look on two of Aeros collars and just want to confirm the possible outcome. Black mouton and Rust.

Aero Mouton Fur - Sun Color Change

It will age and patina. I’ve never done it from new but did have some black collars on old m/c jackets that went tan at the edges of the mouton. I think it takes quite a bit of time.
Historically, the mouton changed colour on the originals - hardly surprising for those in the Pacific Theatre of Operations and the intensely high UV!
I would expect the Aero mouton collar to change colour too - but just think of it as part of the ageing process along with the leather. Don't sweat it.
