I've had to purposefully rub the leathers with a white cloth to get any transfer. I haven't had any accidentally through normal wear.

Thanks guys. I don't really consider it a problem either. Just ran out of pants and had to wear a pair that are off white. I know, I know...it's not spring. But I've been playing single dad the past week and well, laundry came in last on the to do list.

I like the looks of the Vicenza. I was looking at some of the jackets on the insurrection thread and they look nice!

I'm glad to see that all's well that ends well, MRB, and you're happy - as you ought to be - it looks good from up here! It's certainly a great jacket that you can dress up or down. That's always good!
Wear it in good health!

PS. And don't fret about the "Fred Flintstone" shape. We all wish we were different somehow, I'm sure. Personally I wish I was more Captain America in size and shape - but really I'm more Lieutenant George from Blackadder Goes Forth! We are what we are. Cheers!

I got my new Aero Maxwell at the end of last week and it's fantastic! Only a couple modifications to the design, which is a straight yoke on the back, straps on the cuffs like the Route 66, and no chest pocket.
I did have to shorten the arms, because, well, I seem to be built like Fred Flintstone.
Let me know what you think.

The fit came out great and looks awesome on you! Post up some action shots when you have a chance (this jacket definitely looks good in a Jeep!!)...

On the issue of the bleed, I had a little bleeding at the collar from my corodovan Bootlegger the first few times I wore it, though only in fairly humid conditions, or if I got a bit hot in it. I've never had that in any other Aero I've owned, which had included the same CXL FQHH in brown. It just discoloured a few (light / white) shirt collars, but it was never anything that didn'tg come straight out in a regular wash.

Stand by, I have to admit, being Fred Flintstone always helped on those long ruck hikes. A little extra stored energy.
But thank you for the feedback. The more I wear it, the more I love it. Now I understand why Aero has a following.

I've had some bleeding on a black FHH on leather car seats; my BMW has especially high bolsters and when I get in and out of the car my elbows/arms tend to rub against the grained seat leather. It's probably due to a combo of how I get out of the car/the seat bolster position, and it probably doesn't help that the seats are red.
