Though note that only some collars canbe interchanged. Aero will allow a different collar option as long as it doesn't require a new pattern.

My Aero Stuart ( predecessor to the Maxwell ) had more of a molded or shaped type open collar that I liked quite well.....

Very nice fit, What is your weight/ height and jacket measurements if you dont mind
Since i owned a 1930ies Halfbelt for about a year i was "infected" and started to plan for the 2nd AERO.

My choice was the MAXWELL with some mods like american cuffs and a pleated back. Material is CXFQHH but i think thats obvious.

I think as a customer i was a real "pain in the a..e" consumed a lot of AERO's staff Patience.

Anyway - after less than 12 weeks i received the jacket and i'm fully blown away ...

When I ordered my Mulligan, I completely eliminated the chest pocket. IMO the chest pocket flap on the Mulligan really looks cheesy. On the other hand the cargo pockets with flaps is very functional and worthwhile. I also ordered my Maxwell without a chest pocket. Both of my Sheenes do have chest pockets on the left although I consider any chest pocket though as merely decorative, at least for me.

I'm in two minds on it. I'm leaning Mulligan over the Maxwell just because it's a bit more varied than my other stuff (which matters to me even more now with inflation in general, and jacket prices particularly, rising so much faster than an academic salary). The chest pocket I will keep, I like it as a detail (and ideally to stuff some gloves or a pen or whatever in.... this is a jacket that will get worn in place of a blazer / suitcoat for me)..... The flap I am in two minds about. I quite like how it looks, though whether it gets in the way practically I think might be the question.
